| The floor of the 7th Floor Gallery, Madison, WI was lined with plastic cast quart milk cartons. The piece was produced during the summer of 1997. It weighed approximately 2.5 tons. Each carton weighed approximately 2 pounds. Each plaster cast was taken from a used milk, cream, Half and Half, eggnog, orange juice, liquid egg gable top carton. These were collected over a three month period from friends, local coffee shops and restaurants. | |
